The Orbea Carpe 20 is a fully equipped electric city bike, built so you can step off the shop floor and straight into everyday riding. With a Shimano EP600 motor, a 420Wh battery, integrated lighting, mudguards, a rear carrier, and a kickstand all included, it's a complete commuting package without the hassle of adding accessories. Finished in Diamond Matt Black, it's a clean, understated bike made for daily commutes, errands, and weekend rides around the city.

The Carpe 20 is powered by the Shimano EP600 motor, giving smooth, responsive assistance for starting off at the lights, tackling hills, and keeping pace in traffic. It's paired with an Orbea 420Wh battery and a Shimano EN500 display, so key ride information is always easy to read. The bike is supplied with Orbea's 2nd generation eBike Smart charger (42V, 2 to 4A).

Lightweight Alloy Frame with a Carbon Fork

The 2026 Carpe frame is hydroformed 6061 alloy and designed around Orbea's cockpit and equipment ecosystem, so lights, carrier, mudguards, and kickstand all fit neatly into one cohesive package. A carbon fork helps take the edge off road vibration for a more comfortable ride. The frame is also trailer compatible, which adds flexibility if you want to carry more or bring the kids along.

Smooth, Reliable Drivetrain and Braking

Shimano Cues 9-speed shifting, with a Cues U4000 Shadow rear derailleur and an 11-46T Sun Race cassette, gives a wide gear range that's easy to use and built to last. A 40T alloy chainring with chainguard keeps your trousers clean, and a KMC eGlide chain is made for the added demands of an eBike. Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes provide strong, controlled stopping in all conditions.

Everything You Need, Already Fitted

The Carpe 20 comes ready for the street with a Supernova Mini2 front light, a Supernova TL3 Mini rear light, and an Orbea front position light integrated into the seatpost. An Orbea RR-01 alloy rear carrier is compatible with MIK and MIK Side accessories and the Ortlieb QL3.1 system, with a maximum load of 20kg. An Orbea Alu SL 48 mudguard set keeps you clean in wet weather, a Massload rear adjustable stand makes parking easy, and a Knog Oi Small Flat bell lets people know you're coming. Vittoria Randonneur 42-622 tyres with a reflective band add grip and visibility.

Comfortable, Practical Contact Points

A Selle Royal Vivo Ergo saddle and an SP08 31.6mm alloy seatpost keep you comfortable for the whole ride. The alloy 31.8mm riser handlebar and OC Road Performance 23 stem (+15 degrees) provide an upright, relaxed riding position, and an SP Connect SPC+ smartphone mount fits to the stem cap so your phone is always in view for navigation.
