A Lightweight Frame with Mountain Bike Handling

The Dew is built around a Kona 6061 butted aluminium frame and a matching 6061 aluminium fork, giving a light, durable platform for daily riding. Large 29 inch wheels with WTB Groov-E 29 x 2.0" tyres roll smoothly over rough pavement, bike paths, and gravel shortcuts, while double wall aluminium rims and black stainless steel spokes add strength for everyday use.

Easy, Reliable 8-Speed Gearing

A Shimano ESSA 2000 crankset (40T) pairs with a Shimano ACERA 11-45T 8-speed cassette, an ESSA RDU2000 rear derailleur, and a Shimano ALTUS shifter. The single chainring setup keeps things simple, with no front derailleur to adjust, and the wide gear range handles flat commutes and steep hills with ease. A KMC Z8.3 chain completes a drivetrain that's built to be straightforward and dependable.

Confident Disc Braking

Tektro M280 2-piston disc brake calipers and levers, with 160mm rotors front and rear, give you reliable stopping power for wet mornings, busy intersections, and long descents.

Comfortable, Upright Cockpit

A Kona 31.8mm handlebar, 700mm wide with a 70mm rise and a 10 degree backsweep, gives a relaxed, upright riding position and good control in traffic. It's paired with a 45mm stem and Kona Key Grips. A Kona Commuter saddle and a Kona 27.2mm offset seatpost (350mm) finish a cockpit designed for comfortable everyday riding. The crank length is 170mm on the S and M sizes and 175mm on the L and XL.

Ready for Everyday Riding

The Dew comes with a bell and a kickstand fitted, so you can start commuting from day one without shopping for accessories.

Backed by over 40 years of family owned expertise, every Kona Dew from bikes.com.au comes with 12 months of unlimited servicing and extended warranty, so you can ride to work, the shops, or the park with total confidence.
