Wide WTB Horizon Comp 650 x 47c tyres with puncture protection add cushioning and grip on rough pavement, bike paths, and gravel shortcuts, and double wall alloy rims with black stainless steel spokes keep the wheels strong.

Simple, Reliable 9-Speed Gearing

A Shimano Cues rear derailleur and shifter work with a Shimano LG300 11-46T 9-speed cassette, a 39T chainring with chainguard, and a KMC X-Glide chain. The wide gear range handles flat commutes and steep hills, and the chainguard helps keep your trousers clean.

Powerful Hydraulic Disc Braking

Tektro HDM275 hydraulic disc brakes, with 160mm Tektro rotors front and rear, give smooth, powerful stopping in wet or dry conditions, with a light lever feel that suits stop start city riding.

Comfortable Contact Points

A Kona Handplant handlebar, Kona Commuter stem, and Velo Ergo grips give a relaxed, upright riding position, while a Kona Commuter saddle and Kona Thumb offset seatpost (27.2mm) add comfort over longer rides. Kona JS2 pedals complete the setup.
