Description

Focus JAM² 6.8 2026 Electric Mountain Bike – Nepal Silver/Steel Grey

The Focus JAM² 6.8 2026 is a high-performance full-suspension electric mountain bike built for riders who want confidence on technical climbs, control on rough descents and a playful feel on the trail. Finished in Nepal Silver/Steel Grey, the JAM² 6.8 combines 160 mm of front suspension and 150 mm of rear travel with the latest generation Bosch Performance Line CX drive system and a 600 Wh Bosch PowerTube battery.

At the heart of the JAM² 6.8 is the Bosch Performance Line CX motor, providing up to 120 Nm of torque. This gives the bike serious assistance when tackling steep climbs while retaining the natural, controlled handling expected from a modern trail eMTB.

The 600 Wh Bosch PowerTube battery is neatly integrated into the frame and provides a practical balance between range, weight and trail performance. The battery is complemented by the compact Bosch Purion 200 display and remote, keeping the controls simple and easy to use while riding.

Built for aggressive trail riding

The JAM² 6.8 is designed around a 7005 hydroformed aluminium frame with 150 mm of F.O.L.D. suspension kinematics. Combined with a 160 mm RockShox Lyrik Select fork and 150 mm RockShox Super Deluxe Select rear shock, the bike is equipped to handle everything from flowing singletrack to rough and technical terrain.

The suspension setup gives the JAM² 6.8 a sporty and responsive character while maintaining traction when the trail gets rough. The 65-degree head angle and 76.5-degree seat angle create a balanced riding position, helping the bike feel stable when descending while keeping the rider well positioned for climbing.

With 29-inch wheels and 2.6-inch Schwalbe Albert tyres, the JAM² 6.8 offers plenty of traction and rollover capability on rocks, roots and loose terrain. The combination of a grippy front tyre and durable trail-focused construction makes it a strong choice for riders who like to push their eMTB on technical trails.

SRAM Eagle 12-speed drivetrain

The JAM² 6.8 uses a SRAM Eagle 70 12-speed drivetrain with a SRAM GX Transmission 10-52T cassette and 36T chainring. The wide gearing range gives you the low gears needed for steep climbs while still providing useful ratios for faster sections of trail.

Powerful four-piston brakes

When you're carrying more speed on technical descents, reliable braking is essential. The JAM² 6.8 is equipped with SRAM DB8 four-piston hydraulic disc brakes and large 200 mm rotors front and rear. This provides strong and controllable braking performance for steep descents and demanding trail conditions.

Smart integrated features

Focus has also built several practical features into the JAM² 6.8. The frame includes integrated mounting points for an Apple AirTag or Chipolo, giving riders an additional option for tracking and securing their bike when it's stored at home, transported or left at the trailhead.

The bike also features internal cable routing, a FOCUS C.I.S. integrated cockpit and a dropper post with size-specific travel.

Who is the Focus JAM² 6.8 for?

The Focus JAM² 6.8 is a great choice for riders looking for a capable full-suspension electric mountain bike that can tackle technical Australian trails without feeling cumbersome or overly difficult to handle.

With 160/150 mm of suspension, 29-inch wheels, powerful four-piston brakes and the Bosch Performance Line CX motor, it's particularly well suited to riders who enjoy technical climbs, rough singletrack and fast descents and want an eMTB that can confidently handle demanding terrain.

If you're looking for a versatile trail eMTB with a strong Bosch motor, substantial suspension travel and a quality SRAM drivetrain, the JAM² 6.8 sits in a very capable part of the Focus range.
