At the core of the Izalco Max 9.8 is Focus’ MAX aero carbon frame, weighing just 865 g in a size medium. Developed using wind tunnel-approved NACA tube profiles, the frame reduces drag while maintaining outstanding stiffness and ride feel. The oversized bottom bracket area and laterally stiff fork ensure efficient power transfer, helping the bike feel sharp under acceleration and composed when descending or cornering at speed.
Up front, the Reserve One Piece Cockpit delivers a fully integrated, cable-free design that enhances aerodynamics while providing precise, confident steering. Paired with Focus’ bold race geometry, the result is effortless high-speed handling and a responsive, connected ride feel.
