The Robert Axle Kid Trailer Axle KID226 (169, 176, or 184 mm - M12 x 1.0) enables you to securely attach a hitch-mounted trailer to your bike. This robust 12mm thru axle is compatible with any two-wheeled trailer featuring a single point of attachment, including popular brands like Thule, Chariot, Burley, Instep, and Carry Freedom.
Designed to help you share your passion for cycling with your children, Robert Axle's products facilitate quick and secure attachment of trailers to your bike. Unlike standard thru-axles, which may not be strong enough to support your cargo, Robert Axle's axles are 3 to 4 times stronger. The stainless steel ends ensure a safe connection between the hitch and axle, and installation can be completed easily with a common 5mm hex key.

- Compatible with trailers from Burley, Carry Freedom, Chariot/Thule, Croozer, Instep, and others using a hitch system.
- The axle shaft measures 181 mm, but can be adjusted to 175 mm with included 6 mm spacers. Note that axle lengths differ from hub standards, as a 12x148 hub requires a longer axle.
- Features a 1.0 mm thread pitch.
