The Zipp 303 S Tubeless Disc Brake front wheel pairs the speed road riders crave with the versatility modern bikes demand. It carries on Zipp's Spring Classics heritage with a 45mm rim depth that suits every kind of terrain, and it adds a much wider internal width for better performance and ride quality. This front wheel has 24 spokes, a 12x100mm thru axle fitting, and a Center Lock rotor mount, and is finished in the Standard Graphic A1 design.

A Rim Designed for the New Breed of Road Bike

Road bikes now handle almost any surface without giving up speed, and the 303 S has an entirely new rim profile built for that. Depth stays at 45mm, the same as the 302 Disc Brake it replaces, but the external width grows by 2mm to 27mm and the tyre bed widens by a full 7mm to 23mm. The platform is tuned to be fastest with a 28mm tyre, and it can also take gravel tyres up to 50mm wide, so one front wheel can cover fast road rides and rougher mixed surface days.

Tubeless for Lower Pressures and a Smoother Ride

As a tubeless disc brake wheel, the 303 S lets you run wide tyres at lower pressures for race ready speed on or off the pavement. The wide rim shapes the tyre profile to suit those lower pressures, which cuts rolling resistance and gives a more compliant feel through the front end, where comfort and control matter most.

Efficiency You Can Measure

The 303 S borrows design ideas from Zipp's higher level 303 Firecrest Tubeless Disc Brake wheelset, aiming to reduce wind resistance, rolling resistance, rider fatigue, and weight. In Zipp's internal testing, it saved 10 percent in watts against a top peer wheel for the total power needed to ride 40kph on a smooth, flat road with a 28mm tyre. It's among Zipp's lightest wheelsets and comes with all new cosmetics to help you stand out from the pack.
