At the heart of the Gambler 20 is a hydroformed, custom butted Alloy 6061 frame featuring Scott's Virtual 4 Link kinematic suspension design, with adjustable BB height and chainstay length, and full MX (mixed wheel size) readiness for riders who want to fine tune their setup. Up front, a RockShox Boxxer Select fork with Charger 3.2 damper delivers a full 200mm of travel, paired with a RockShox Vivid Coil rear shock, custom tuned and also offering 200mm of rear travel, for a genuinely capable, race ready platform on the steepest, roughest tracks.

Race Proven Drivetrain and Braking

The Gambler 20 runs a SRAM GX DH 7-speed drivetrain, controlled through a SRAM GX DH Eagle trigger shifter, with a SRAM Descendant DH crankset (34T) and an integrated Scott Gambler MY20 chainguide and bashguard to keep your chain secure over the roughest terrain. Braking comes from powerful SRAM DB8 4-piston brakes, paired with 203mm Centerline rotors front and rear, giving you the confident, consistent stopping power downhill racing demands.

Mixed Wheel Setup for Maximum Control

This build runs a true MX configuration, a 29 inch front wheel paired with a 27.5 inch rear, on Alex Rims MD30 tubeless ready rims. Maxxis rubber completes the package, with an Assegai 29x2.5" (3C Maxx Grip) up front for maximum cornering traction, and a DHR II 27.5x2.5" (3C Maxx Terra) out back for reliable control and speed through braking zones. Formula DHL hubs front and rear, with sealed bearings, keep everything rolling smoothly run after run.

Purpose Built Cockpit

A Syncros Hixon DH35 handlebar, paired with a CNC DH stem, gives you a stiff, precise front end built to handle the impacts of high speed downhill riding. The Syncros DH1.5 seatpost and Kaslo 2.0 saddle round out a cockpit designed purely around control, not comfort for the sake of it, because on a bike like this, control is everything.
