The Kona Dew DL is an all weather commuter bike and a versatile urban all rounder, built for riders whose daily routes don’t always play nice. Its mountain bike informed design gives comfortable, confident handling, hydraulic disc brakes deliver dependable stopping in any weather, and a smooth shifting 10-speed drivetrain stops hills and changing terrain from calling the shots. The Dew DL is built around a Kona 6061 butted aluminium frame and a matching 6061 aluminium fork, giving a light, durable platform for daily riding. Large 29 inch wheels with WTB Groov-E 29 x 2.0" tyres roll smoothly over rough pavement, bike paths, and gravel shortcuts, while double wall aluminium rims and black stainless steel spokes add strength for everyday use.

Hydraulic Disc Brakes for Any Weather

Shimano Altus hydraulic disc brakes, with 160mm Shimano RT-26 rotors front and rear, give confident, controlled stopping on wet roads, steep descents, and busy city streets, with a light lever feel that suits stop start riding.

Smooth 10-Speed Shimano Cues Gearing

A Shimano Cues 6000 rear derailleur and shifter work with a Shimano Cues LG300 11-48T 10-speed cassette and a Shimano Cues 4000 crankset with a 40T chainring. The single chainring setup keeps things simple, with no front derailleur to adjust, and the wide 11-48T range gives low gears for steep climbs and enough top end for fast flats. A KMC X-Glide 10-speed chain completes a drivetrain made to be straightforward and dependable. The crank length is 170mm on the S and M sizes and 175mm on the L and XL.

Comfortable, Upright Cockpit

A Kona 31.8mm handlebar, 700mm wide with a 70mm rise and a 10 degree backsweep, gives a relaxed, upright position and good control in traffic. It’s paired with a 45mm stem, Kona Key grips, a Kona Commuter saddle, and a Kona 27.2mm offset seatpost (350mm) for comfort over longer rides.
