The MET Downtown Mips Helmet is a stylish and high-performance urban cycling helmet designed to keep you safe and comfortable on your rides around the city. With its durable and lightweight in-mold construction, the helmet provides excellent impact protection without adding bulk or weight.
It features the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) technology, which reduces rotational forces on the brain in the event of an oblique impact. The helmet also has 10 vents for maximum airflow, a removable and washable interior padding for easy maintenance, and a magnetic buckle for easy and secure fastening. The MET Downtown Mips Helmet comes in a range of stylish colors and sizes to fit all head sizes and styles.
BRAIN PROTECTION SYSTEM
Featuring the MIPS-C2® brain protection system, the Downtown is able to slide relative to the head in the case of a crash, redirecting damaging rotational motion. The MIPS Brain Protection System (BPS) is attached inside the helmet, between the comfort padding and the EPS.
