The Roc Loc® 5 is an improved retention system with a micro-adjusting dial which is easy to use: a simple twist of the dial opens or tightens the retention system of the helmet. It also features ergonomic arms to accommodate Giro eyewear, and a 15 mm vertical bracket which you can adjust without removing your helmet.
In-Mold™ constructon fuses a tough polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet's impact-absorbing foam liner. The fusion process allows for better ventilation systems, making in-mold helmets lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.
Although there is no difference between male and female head shapes other than a smaller average size, Giro offers Women's Specific models to keep up with the fashion forward kit found on the mountain. Finishing details and a sophisticated color palette set these models apart.
